  Metabo KGS 305 M 305mm Sliding Compound Mitre Saw | 110mm Depth of Cut

  
  The Metabo KGS 305 M is the largest sliding compound mitre saw in the Metabo M-class range, built for high-capacity crosscutting on site and in the workshop. Joiners, site carpenters, and timber frame builders rely on this machine for sizing thick timber joists, wide floorboards, and heavy framing studs. It combines a large 305mm cutting capacity with a portable frame.
  
  The sliding mechanism provides a maximum cutting width of 305mm and a cutting depth of 110mm at 90°. At a 45° mitre and bevel angle, the saw cuts up to 215mm wide by 67mm deep.
  
  Metabo builds the chassis from die-cast aluminium, keeping total weight to just 18.6 kg with ergonomic carrying handles. The Precision Cut Line (PCL) shadow line LED projects an exact cut line without manual recalibration. The saw head tilts up to 47° left and right, while the turntable features pre-set stop points up to 50° left and 60° right. An electronic soft start, fast blade brake, trenching depth guide, and dust extraction scoop maintain working efficiency.
  
  This machine comes complete with a 305mm 56-tooth Precision Cut Wood saw blade, two pull-out table length extensions, a length stop, a material clamp, a blade change tool, a cable winder, and a chip collection bag. Available in 110V for site transformers and 230V for workshop mains supply, this saw handles first-fix timber framing, roof trusses, composite decking, and internal joinery trim. The 110V version is rated at an input power of 1500W and the 230V is rated at 1600W, with a S6 (20%) rating of 2000W.
