    Metabo 5.5Ah 18V LiHD Battery Pack | CAS Compatible


    This battery is capable of powering all Metabo 18 Volt cordless tools. It has a capacity of 5.5 Amp-hours, placing it square in the mid-range for size. This is part of the CAS platform of batteries - allowing you to use the same battery on any other machine within the Cordless Alliance System, including Pressfit, Mafell, Fischer, Rothenberger, Skidata and Trumpf to name a few. Rather than this battery pack just being a dumb collection of cells, it have cell balancing in the form of the CAS ESCP, or Electronic Single Cell Protection - driven by an onboard microprocessor. Despite this, it has very little self-discharge, giving you a decent shelf life when not in active use. Unlike most other brands, Metabo offer a 3 year warranty on their batteries (and chargers), without the need to register, and without restriction on charging cycles.
