The Makita HR012 is a compact SDS+ drill built on their 40VMax XGT platform. It delivers up to 3.3J impact energy for powerful drilling and chiselling and is equipped with three modes, rotation only for wood and metal drilling, hammer only (otherwise known as rotation-stop) for chiselling and rotation hammer for concrete and masonry drilling up to 28mm.
This particular model includes a quick-change chuck for changing to a traditional chuck, the GBADX18 dust collection system attachment to keep your work environment cleaner and a MakPac connector case.
Loaded with Makita's latest technologies, the HR012 has AVT (Anti-Vibration Technology) for comfortability, AFT (Active Feedback sensing Technology) to stop the brushless motor when rotation stops suddenly and AWS (Auto-start Wireless System) that allows compatible vacuums to start wirelessly.
Furthermore it has XPT (eXtreme Protection Technology) which is engineered to protect the inner components such as the brushless motor from water and dirt ingress, prolonging it's lifespan and further proving it's worth in your tool box.
