  Milwaukee 50 Metre Laser Distance Measure | Metric | LDM 50

  
  Ideal for a large range of applications, this laser distance meter from Milwaukee has a range of 50 metres. As well as doing basic measurements, it can also do calculations for area and volume, plus indirect height measurement using Pythagoras. This unit is capable of metric measurements only, which reduces clutter and complexity caused by a unit switcher. For accurate measurement including into 90 degree corners, there is a flip out corner pin. To take advantage of this the bottom right button changes the point of measurement from the front (at the laser source), to the back of the unit (adding the length of the unit), or to the back of the corner point. The meter is powered by two AAA batteries, and monitors them with an on-screen symbol. One of the special and patented features of the LDM 50 is the indirect surface measurement which combines multiple pythagoras measurements together to give an area from one place.
