  Makita 3mm Orbit 125mm RO Sander | XGT 40Vmax | BO003CG Bare Unit

  
  Part of Makita's new line of XGT/40Vmax cordless sanders, these are ultra compact and lightweight thanks to the battery being attached via a cord. This allows you to put the battery on your belt with the included belt-hook, or set it on your vacuum. In either case, you can run the cord along your arm or the vacuum hose with the included cable strap clip.
  
  The compact design not only allows the sander to be lightweight, but also much more ergonomic. The switch feels high quality and there is a speed control dial that lets you set the rotational speed between the minimum of 6,000 rpm and the maximum of 10,000 rpm.
  
  The BO00X range of sanders is compatible with standard sanding paper, but has been designed with net sanding sheets in mind. You can see this from the large number of different extraction holes in the base, and the fact that a pad saver disc has been included. This offsets the main disadvantage with heavy use of net sanding discs in that the hook & loop hooks tend to stick through the net and themselves get worn away over time. Pad savers are a cost effective way to protect the factory hooks of your sander base. 
  
  Unless otherwise selected, the sander comes without a battery or charger, allowing you to use your existing 40Vmax XGT Li-ion battery packs to power this. Included in the box are the saner itself, a dust collection box, extraction hose adaptor, net sanding sheet, pad saver disc, cable strap, and battery cord.
