    Roughneck Fence Post Jig


    Designed for use with a regular handsaw, this fence post shaper acts as a guide for the blade. It lets you cut left or right 45 degree angles. You can cut the left and right to result in a triangular peak, and if desired, rotate the jig by 90 degrees and perform the same cuts again to result in a pyramid. If you start all four of the above cuts with the top of the post above the bottom of the cut line, you'll end up with a flat-topped pyramid. If you flip the jig upside down, there is a guide for flat top cuts. The jig is manufactured from powder coated metal, and has a thumbturn bolt to secure against the post.
