Featuring two premium garden powertools, this kit is complete with a dual bay rapid battery charger as well as a pair of 12.0 Amp-hour HIGH OUTPUT™ M18 18V Li-ion battery packs. These batteries are designed to be able to run a full load for longer thanks to them operating 50 percent cooler than previous generations.
The lawnmower in this kit (M18 F2LM53) is a professional grade machine with a 36 Volt motor that runs by combining two batteries together in series. It has powerful work lights on the front and sides, letting you keep working later into the evening especially on shorter nights. As the mower uses an electric motor, it is much quieter than petrol machines and can be used without disturbing neighbours and customers. The steel deck of this mower measures 530mm wide for a high capacity cut, and there is a self-propelled mode to allow less operator strain as well as a more consistent cut.
The strimmer/brushcutter (M18 FBCU) comes complete with both a 4-tooth blade and appropriate guard, and a bump feed line spool and its guard. This allows you to switch between heavy duty grass trimming and even heavier duty weed whacking. With the grass trimmer spool and guard attached, you can set the stop to either 350 or 400mm to give you those cutting widths as two options. If you install the 4 tooth blade, it gives a cutting path of 230mm. For excellent control and comfort, you get a double-shoulder harness to take most of the weight off your arms. As a result you then get to use the bike-handle style controls that are lightweight and easy to use.
