    Ambro-Sol Inox Spray | 400ml


    This spray from Ambro-Sol is a spray galvanisation. It is a silicone resin based zinc coating. This coating interferes with the normal chemical process of rusting. As zinc is more reactive than iron, it sacrifices itself and "corrodes" instead of the iron, making zinc oxide instead of iron oxide. A side effect of the zinc oxidising instead of the iron is that zinc oxide is actually very good at protecting the surface from water ingress. Inox spray works best where it is the only coating, as this allows the sacrificial oxidisation to work best.
