A powerful rotary hammer drill that takes the massive range of SDS-Plus shanked bits. This kit version of the drill comes with a pair of 2.5Ah battery packs, charger, Type 4 Makpac Connector Case, and last but most certainly not least; the DX16 Dust Extractor.
When you take into consideration the size of this machine, it delivers a fantastic set of performance statistics. It can deliver 2.1 Joules of impact energy, allowing it to drill up to 20mm in concrete easily. It can also drill a 26mm hole in wood and a 13mm hole in steel. Finally, you can throw a TCT core bit into the chuck at up to 35mm in diameter for those even larger hole requirements.
The DX16 (which also fits the DHR183), is a dust extractor with HEPA filter. It attaches to the bottom/front of the HR10G and uses the motor to extract the dust on the very machine to which it is attached. The dust box is 400ml in capacity, but is super easy to empty. Before emptying and between holes, you can twist the control on the front of the dust box to strongly vibrate the filter, shaking loose masonry dust and keeping the extraction efficiency high.
The HR010G operates on the 40Vmax platform, giving you a more powerful tool than the equivalent 18 Volt machine, while still remaining compact and lightweight. It only requires one of the two included batteries to operate, allowing the second to be a spare, or on charge.
