This professional grade machine from Makita is the first in their line of 64Vmax powertools. This gives you a higher power machine without needing two batteries in the one compartment. The mower has a cutting width of 53cm, contained within a steel deck for easier maintenance and a longer product lifetime. The large 64Vmax battery included has a capacity of 4.0 Amp-hours. For convenience and due to the 2.2 kilogram weight, it features a carry handle. The battery still uses Lithium-ion cell technology, and also includes a four LED battery level indicator. The lawnmower has a self-propelled mode where you can sacrifice some battery life in order to get a more consistent speed and an easier cut. When not in use, you can fold the handle down without even needing tools. Unlike with petrol machines of the same power, you can hang the LM004J upright on a wall in a shed or garage in order to keep it out of the way. The large collection bag features a tag which lets you know if the bag is full or not. It uses the wind generated by the blade through the collection box to move a tag during operation if the box is not yet full. The height of cut is easily adjusted thanks to the ergonomic control by the wheel.
