  DeWalt FlexVolt Advantage Recip Saw | DCS386 Bare Unit plus Case

  
  This reciprocating saw is in the DeWalt FlexVolt Advantage range which means it works from either 18 volt XR battery packs, but also works with 54V XR FlexVolt batteries where it delivers more performance. This -NT version of the DCS386 is packaged without any batteries or charger, ideal if you already own 18V and/or 54V batteries. It is supplied in a T-Stak box which can hold your batteries, charger, blades and other accessories.
  
  To change blades on the recip saw you simply flip open a lever, take out the old one, add the new one and finally flip the lever back down. This provides a secure hold of the blade but without requiring you to carry any tools onboard. While cutting, the shoe pivots around the cut line, keeping it flat against the workpiece for good support, less vibration, and a more efficient cut.
  
  The saw can operate at up to 3,000 strokes per minute, which can be varied by the pressure you apply to the trigger thanks to the pressure sensitive variable speed trigger switch. There is a bright LED work light that shines at the cut line to give better visibility in poorly lit work sites. For ergonomics, the body of the tool has rubber overmoulding anywhere you are expected to hold it.
