  Makita 18V Cordless 15 Litre Powered Backpack Sprayer | DUS158 Bare Unit

  
  This knapsack sprayer from Makita is powered by a single 18 Volt battery from their popular LXT range of Lithium-ion battery powered machines. The DUS158 is supplied without batteries or charger, letting you use your own existing batteries, keeping the price of this kit lower.
  
  The sprayer has a capacity of 15 litres, and is suitable for use with a large range of liquids including weed killers, pesticides, ordinary water, oil/water solutions, plant food and fertiliser. The sprayer is operated from the hand lance which has a finger trigger to control the spray.
  
  When combined with a 6.0Ah 18V battery pack (not included), you can get a runtime of 9 hours, meaning one battery will allow you a full work-day without needing to stop to swap or recharge batteries. 
  
  For your comfort, the section of the knapsack sprayer that is in contact with your back is padded. To quickly empty the container, there is a drain plug at the bottom. The motor in the machine is very quiet meaning it can be used without noise fatigue.
