It only needs 60 minutes to fully charge from completely empty. On the maximum brightness setting, it outputs an impressive 1,200 lumens, but allows you to reduce the brightness to extend your battery life. There is also a side floodlight that outputs 400 lumens - combine this with the belt clip and you can easily illuminate the ground or general area in front of you handsfree.
