  Makita Variable Speed Plunge Router | 12mm / 1/2" | 2,100 Watts

  
  This modern plunge router from Makita has a 1/2" collet capacity and runs at 2100 Watts from mains (110V or 230V available) to deliver excellent torque to the cutter. This is a permanent plunge base which has been designed to be as ergonomic as possible. The brushed motor is easy to maintain with good access to change the brushes. The switch can be locked into the 'on' position, allowing you to concentrate on accuracy during cuts. To prevent the initial jolt often experienced with these powerful corded machines, the RP2303 has a soft-start feature. For safety, there are several features including an electric brake, anti-restart function and double insulation. For Quality of Life, is has a variable speed control, as well as constant speed control, which detects load and increases power to maintain the desired speed.
