  Featuring an LCD screen that shows a large range of statistics, this meter allows you to track electricity usage from a device or devices connected to the socket on the front. You can delve into all the details to get a specification for a UPS, or just look at basic information like the cost of the electricity used. The unit comes with a comprehensive manual to allow you to get the most out of the information collected and stored. The meter can store the statistics even when switched off or unplugged thanks to the inclusion of three button cell batteries, letting it work for about 3 months without power, more than enough for it to hold memory if switched off during a holiday for example. The unit itself uses approximately 0.5 Watts, so would use just only a couple of pounds/euros per year even if plugged in 24/7/365. You can program into the memory the cost per kWh that your electricity provider charges, to get the price of electricity used. Please note, some heavy cords from power plugs may cover part of the screen, but you can add a 2/3-way plug adaptor to improve the usability if desired.
