  Makita DEAWST05 Mitre Saw Legstand

  
  This mitre saw legstand from Makita is extremely versatile, with two arms that slide out which each have a support leg that folds out. This allows you to support material as wide as 2.74 metres (or longer with overhang). The large wheels on the stand allow you to manoeuvre it into position on site with ease. There are two height settings that allow you to work at either 55cm or 80cm. The whole unit can be collapsed flat, even with a saw attached, to allow more compact storage, such as in the back of a van.

  This is a lovely stand, quick and easy to open up with the saw on it, very stable too, cant push it over. Wheels can be braked so it wont roll if working on a slope. I like the fact that extending arms rest on the ground instead of conventional way, that way height support can be adjusted precisely level with saw table, with long level or straight edge. Not too long when folded (1010mm), it will sit between rear wheel arches in the van, unlike other bigger stand which has to be loaded length ways taking up more space.
  Very positive experience with Ray Grahams and DPD, placed my order on Sunday evening and received everything Tuesday morning while being told exact hour when it will be delivered. Great stock and website seems to reflect stock levels, good prices too, cant ask for more, highly recommended.
