  DeWalt 15.0 Amp-hour FlexVolt Battery | DCB549

  
  The next generation of cordless power is the DCB549, containing 30 of the latest generation of 18650 Lithium-ion cells, oriented in a vertical arrangement for the highest possible energy density. It is designed with the larger FlexVolt tools in mind, but is still capable of powering all 18 Volt XR DeWalt tools. This would be the ideal way to power your portable table saws, mitre saws, vacuums and compressors. We are still able to ship the DCB549 battery thanks to the included safety transport cap that physically separates the battery internally into 3 x 90 Watt-hour packs, under the 100Wh limit. Naturally the battery is much larger physically than previous generations, and therefore some consideration has been given to the fitment for DeWalt's existing line of tools.   Compatibility:
  Works with most of the 18v XR, 18v XR with FlexVolt Advantage and 54V XR FlexVolt range.
  
  DCH733 has battery cage that will cause fitment issues. The DCH735 is the same tool with a different foot design to allow the DCB549 to be used. A service kit will be available to correct the DCH733.
  
  DCH773 has battery cage that will cause fitment issues. The DCH775 is the same tool with a different foot design to allow the DCB549 to be used. A service kit will be available to correct the DCH773.
  
  The DCS690 and DCD240 have battery compartment lids that are not compatible with the DCB549 - TBA.
  
  Many belt clips for drilling/driving tools will interfere - however they are not the target application for this battery.
  
  Fitment incompatibility: DCS371, DCV517, DW074, DW079, DW080, DCL077, DCL079, DCR011, DCR019, DCR020, DCR021, DCR029, DCR033, ToughSystem Radio, T-Stak Radio, DCE512.
