  Barrettine Patent Knotting | 250ml

  
  Most paints contain solvents which have a tendency to dissolve the resins present in many types of wood, especially around knots. When they dissolve this will discolour the finish on the surface, leading to an inconsistent appearance and potential loss of protection if used outdoors. Patent knotting from Barrettine is used to pre-treat these areas, preventing a reaction by sealing the resin. If using light coloured paints or water-based paint, use "White Knotting" instead.
