This angle grinder from DeWalt is excellent value and suitable for both the trades and DIYers. It rotates at up to 12,000 rpm and takes discs up to a diameter of 125mm. Angle grinders are excellent for those who work with metal, as the high speed rotation of the discs allow you to cut through metal, grind welds smooth, prepare surfaces with wire wheels, and much more. The DWE4117 runs from standard UK/IE mains electric at 230 Volts and has anti-restart protection for user safety - this means if you're grinding away and have a power cut for example, when power is restored the grinder won't start again without first being switched off. The side handle allows you to control the machine against any torque produced, and can be attached to either side for convenience.
