  Makita 14" Abrasive Chop Saw | Twin-18V LXT | 36V Brushless | Bare Unit

  A first of its kind, a full sized completely cordless chop saw, made possible by Makita's twin-18 volt LXT battery platform that delivers 36 volts to the powerful brushless motor. This saw allows you to cut a range of different metal lengths including pipe, tube, angle, threaded bar, rebar and more. To help slow the blade down quickly, the saw has an electric brake. An extremely useful feature of this saw is the load indicator which has four bars that show how close you're getting to the limit of the saws capability. To quickly change the blade, you're able to move the spark guard and free the blade both without the need for any tools. The tool free aspect carries through into the operation of the guide plate and the quick release vice. On the same panel as the load indicator is a battery level indicator so you can see at the push of a button how both your battery packs are doing.
