DeWalt 7 Piece Power Tools Kit | 3 x 18V XR 4.0Ah Batteries
An excellent kit of the most popular power tools from DeWalt's XR line of 18 volt cordless powertools. These all use the same cross-compatible high density Lithium-ion batteries, and this kit includes three of the 4.0 Amp-hour sized packs, which will work with your existing XR 18V tools too. The kit is supplied in two deep T-Stak storage boxes big enough for all the tools, batteries and charger. The kit comes with a super bright LED torch.
Probably the most commonly used tools in this kit are the combi drill and impact driver, often used in tandem for drilling pilot holes then installing screws. They both feature brushless DC motors instead of more traditional brushed motors. This allows them to get as much runtime as possible out of each battery, while delivering excellent speed and torque.
Next is the rotary hammer drill, which has an SDS-Plus bit holder to allow you to use any of a truly massive range of drill bits. It even features a rotation-stop mode, meaning that you can use this with chisel bits to do easy tile removal and light demolition.
For sheet and lumber cutting, the jigsaw and circular saw are both extremely high performance machines, each with their own advantages. The jigsaw can cut a fantastic 135mm thick piece of wood, thanks in part to the pendulum blade action, and 10mm in metal. The circular saw takes a 165mm diameter blade, and is supplied with an ultra thin kerf blade designed to get exceptional runtime and minimal material loss.
Finally, there is the DCW210 random orbital sander, which takes 125mm diameter hook & loop sanding discs. This allows complete sanding freedom in an easy to use package, especially when used with the dust bag or a cordless dust extractor.
