  This brilliant blower combines the power of two of Makita's 18 volt LXT batteries in series to provide the motor with 36 volts of raw power. The motor is the Brushless DC type which is more efficient than more traditional brushed motors therefore allowing a longer battery life and better performance overall. One of the best advantages with the higher voltage is the additional torque that can be provided allowing the motor to run slower while still blowing a higher volume of air than 18 volt machines. A fantastic side effect of this is the lower sound pressure level, only 79.1 dB(A) vs the Makita DUB182 at 83.0 dB(A).
  
  Even with two 5.0Ah or 6.0Ah batteries installed in the DUB362, it is still lightweight and easy to handle for one-hand usage over long periods of time. When batteries are installed, the unit displays each battery charge level so that you can monitor this throughout your task. This listing is the blower without batteries or charger, ideal if you already have garden or power tools that use the LXT range of 18 volt batteries.
