  XL Loft Leg For New Build Homes | 300mm

  
  These loft legs are the Extra Large version, which allow you to raise the floor by 300mm. This is ideal for new build homes where the regulations specify thicker insulation requirements. Compressing insulation reduces the efficiency due to the fact that insulation largely relies on trapped air. Air is a poor conductor of heat and therefore makes a great component of insulation. When insulation is compressed, the air is forced out, and the insulating properties are no longer as effective. The XL Loft Legs provide higher platforms to fix the loft floor to, allowing the insulation to be expanded to its full volume, retaining its efficiency. The loft legs come in a pack of 12.
