  The Record BS300E 12" premium bandsaw is a perfect all round bandsaw to suit the medium sized workshop, where there is a need for a workshop machine that can deliver a range of cutting requirements. 
  
  The BS300E bandsaw incorporates a high quality industrial style fence with a robust construction providing you with millimeter accurate cuts in the toughest of ripping applications. The fence incorporates a heavy duty extrusion which has been mounted on a cast iron base, while an easy lock knob locks the fence in place ensuring materials don't slip during cutting. The easy lock / unlock knob allows you to slide the fence along a solid steel bar giving a wide range of adjustable ripping depths, perfect when cutting sheet materials. 
  
  A blade tensioner indicator which is situated at the rear of the machine shows you the minimum and maximum operating tension levels, making sure you don't over tighten the blades, causing them to break and costing you money. A large cast iron table guarantees a strong and reliable work area that can support large work pieces. It's finely ground finish minimises the friction between workpiece and table to give effortless movement of timber.  The BS300E 's improved cast iron band wheel is dynamically balanced to deliver improved cutting performance and its rubber tyres are precision ground to allow for easy blade fitting and smooth operation reducing your down time when fitting new blades and improving work rate. 
  
  An easy read tracking system gives you full control over blade positioning and cutting accuracy while simple blade guides make it easy to adjust blade accuracy without the need for tools. A solid double trunnion table mount for rigid table support and a featured one handed rack and pinion table tilt for ease of use. The jack screw mounted table can be easily adjusted giving you choice of a variety of tilts.
