      If you bait this trap with chocolate this trap does work I have been very successful with my catch and release option I do not like killing things.   You have to move quickly and empty the trap outside as soon as you discover the mouse inside the trap,  if you leave them in there they start to puzzle solve and they will work out how to open the trap and get out and then they tell each other how its done and it becomes a little game to them.... i kid you not this has been my experience  over the past 2 weeks its not the traps fault that mice are very smart Its a great trap and it does work very well I would recommend it
