  This free standing fire grate is the smallest available in the OFCO range of quality basket grates, featuring 4 legs to raise it from the base of the fire it is designed to be suitable for a small 12" fireplace. The curved up front ensures the coal or other solid fuel is held securely in the fire grate, creating a more efficient burn and reducing the chance of hot materials falling off the grate and creating mess or potentially causing damage or injury.
  
  This solid build fire grate is specifically designed to be used with 12" Castle Fire Front and is produced from incredibly durable cast iron to ensure strength and provide years of trouble free use.
  
  We often get asked "what size fire grate do i need?", it's a good question and is actually quite easy to figure out. Once you have all the components removed from your fire place simply measure the width of the rear of the fire as well as the width off the front, now measure the depth of the fire place from back to front and you will have the maximum dimensions for the required fire grate size. We list fire grate sizes based on the width of the front of the fire grate, making this grate suitable for a fire measuring 12 inches or more at the front but please keep in mind the rear width and overall depth measurements as they will also effect fitment.

  Having struggled to find quite such a small grate I was delighted when I received it as I wasn't sure it would fit the wood burner. Brilliant service and good quality item.
