Milwaukee 5.0Ah batteries coming soon
Milwaukee are due to release their brand new range of 5.0Ah batteries and tools any day now but we've got a sneak peek at the batteries and the stats.

The 5Ah Battery Pack:

The Milwaukee 5Ah Red Lithium-Ion batteries are the best performing M18 packs to date with up to 2.5x more runtime, up to 20% more power and up to 2x more battery life. The battery also runs 20% cooler allowing for a longer time between charges.

The batteries have an upgraded water protection system that routes the water away from any critical components, in turn extending the life of the pack. The packs shock separators absorb vibrations when used in high impact applications and drops.

Milwaukee M18 Tools:

Milwaukees range of 55+ M18 power tools are fully compatible with the new 5Ah batteries. Milwaukee are also launching a full range of tools that come complete with 2x 5Ah batteries giving impressive runtime as well as power.

The batteries on board fuel gauge gives you an indication of the remaining charge so you can plan ahead and charge your other battery if required. Most of the M18 tools have the RedLink Plus system that protects against overload while enhancing their performance.

Why Should I Upgrade:

The 5.0Ah batteries are the same size and weight as the 4.0Ah but provide over 20% more power with unrivalled runtime. If you use tools that experiences high impacts or vibrations such as the Sawzall, the new construction will prolong the batteries working life.
