The Black & Decker Workmate Product Review

Posted: 20 March 2013
For years the Black & Decker Workmate has been the DIY enthusiast's best friend and has served as a great gift for many handymen. First invented in the 1970's by Ron Hickman, the Workmate was rejected by Stanley but, as we all know, went on to sell millions as a Black & Decker tool.

Black & Decker have kept to the original shape and design, yet improving it over the past 30-40 years. One of the latest Workmates is the WM825, which we stock.

Today the Workmate remains an essential part of the DIY enthusiast or professional's workshop with features such as a one-handed clamp system which will allow the clamps to be adjusted either together or independently. The front jaw can also be positioned for vertical clamping giving increased flexibility to clamp odd shaped objects.
