  The Metabo KHE 2245 is a compact 230V SDS-Plus combination hammer built for daily drilling and light chiselling in masonry and concrete. It features three operating modes for hammer drilling, rotary-only drilling, and chiselling. This unit suits electricians, plumbers, and general builders fixing anchor bolts, running cable conduits, or chasing out plaster.
  
  A 750W motor delivers 2.2 Joules of impact energy and up to 4,800 impacts per minute. Variable speed control provides 0 to 1,500 rpm for controlled drilling into varied substrates. Drilling capacities reach 22mm in concrete with SDS-Plus hammer bits, 68mm in masonry with core bits, 13mm in steel, and 30mm in soft wood.
  
  The mechanical Metabo S-automatic safety clutch decouples the drive motor instantly if the drill bit binds in rebar or hard stone, protecting the operator from sudden kickback. Vario (V)-Electronics maintain speed management across materials, while a lockable switch allows continuous operation during prolonged chiselling tasks. The tool weighs 2.7kg and includes a 4-metre mains cable for flexible job site movement.
  
  This corded combination hammer comes supplied with an adjustable side handle, a metal drilling depth guide, and a durable plastic carry case for transport between sites. It handles core trade applications including drilling fixing holes in stone, chasing channels in brickwork, and drilling timber or metal structural frames.
