    Makita 18V LXT 18 Gauge Brad Nailer | DBN501 Bare Unit


    Capable of accepting 18 gauge brad nails from 15mm up to 50mm in length, this finish nailer from Makita runs from their 18 Volt LXT battery platform.

    This nailer replaces the older DBN500 with several improvements. One of the most obvious improvements is that the design of the nailer has been updated to bring it into line with the rest of the nailer range. It's also lighter in weight than the 500. As well as being lighter, it's better balanced too - reducing the amount that it twists your hand forward.

    Jamming has been reduced compared to previous generations, but they've also made it easier to clear jams, not requiring tools to do so. The magazine, which accepts 110 nails, is clear on the side - giving you an easy way to see how many are left. This is less of an issue than ever before however, as the DBN501 has a dry-fire lockout once you get down to your last few nails.
