  Acti Wash Biocide | Cleans Red/Green Algae + Mould & Fungi | 5 Litres

  
  A 5 litre bottle of concentrated biocide which is very close to neutral in pH. There are two different versions available, the first of which is ideal for domestic use and makes up to 75 litres of product from the 5 litre bottle. The other type is also a 5 litre bottle but is super concentrated so that it can make up to 255 litres of usable product, making it ideal for professional users, and being especially cost-effective.
  
  ActiWash uses didecyldimethylammonium chroride, also known as DDAC as its active ingredient. It actually uses the elements to work at the target organisms, including rain and sunlight. With green algae, it takes effect after a week. Red algae is a more resilient organism and can take up to 3 weeks to disappear. In worse cases where the contamination has been allowed to bed in, treatment will need to be more vigorous, with strong brush agitation. It can take a few months and, in rare cases, a second application, for biofilm to completely disappear.
