    DeWalt Aviation Shears


    Available in left, right or straight; these aviation snips have DeWalt's ERGO technology, whereby there is an additional pivot point to add more mechanical advantage (about 15 percent). This lets you cut sheet metal up to 18 gauge. The ergonomic handles have a two part construction, allowing a rubber overmoulding for better grip and comfort The right shears are green handled, left are red, and straight are yellow. The different direction refers to the cut-off material side (which has a tendency to deform or curl away).
