    Makita Pad Saver for BO006CG | 100 x 150mm Delta | Pack of 2


    While the new mesh sanding pads are much better than old paper-type sanding pads, there is one small disadvantage which is that the hooks on the base of your sander can be eventually worn away after years of heavy use. Makita got ahead of this by supplying a sacrificial 'pad-saver' which attaches via hook and loop to the base of your sander, and has the same dust extraction hole pattern to maintain the same performance without damaging the actual base of the sander.
