This garden shredder from Draper will rapidly shred your garden waste such as hedge trimmings, twigs and leaves into smaller piles that you can then use for composting or as a soil improver or mulch. It's large 50L collection box reduces the emptying time and the wheeled design makes the shredder easier to transport around your garden and store in your garden shed or garage.
To protect the user, the Draper 97973 has a blockage prodder/plunger that pushes the debris into the blade so your hands don't need to be anywhere near the blade and an automatic protection system that powers the garden shredder off when the motor is over-loaded.
