  Available either in 230V workshop ready or 110V site ready variants, the T12 is a professional grade machine with a host of features to make the job a breeze. It comes with a standard 12 month warranty, but upon registering the tool online, that gets extended out to 3 years, giving you long term peace-of-mind. The T12 has a 1/2 inch size collet, and is rated at 2100 Watts (110V) or 2300W (230V).
  
  The T12 has an 80mm plunge depth, allowing you to use it with lock jigs to cut the mortice for 3 inch locks with a 3mm clearance. The router comes with a top mount dust extraction port which has been designed in such a way that it provides maximum visibility when making cuts, as safe dust extraction should never be a compromise. 
  
  As many cutters have a rated maximum speed, there is a label on the router that shows what each of the 7 speed settings equates to in revolutions per minute (RPM). This lets you match the speed setting to your cutting application. An excellent safety feature of the router is the anti-restart protection; if you're using the lock-on trigger, and the power is disconnected then reconnected, you need to disengage the trigger lock before it will start up again. This is excellent in the case that someone tripped over an extension cord which is out of your sight, then a few seconds later they plug it back in, this stops it starting up while you're investigating the fault. 
  
  You'll notice with this router that the handles are tilted forward. This is an excellent ergonomic benefit because routers are almost always used around waist height, resulting in the angle you can see in the handles. The power trigger is integrated into the right hand grip, giving you immediate control. The work piece is illuminated clearly and brightly by the integrated LED work lights on the unit.
