Makita 14" Cordless Dry Cutoff Saw | Twin-40Vmax | with 2 x 5.0Ah Batteries
This is the dry cutting version of the CE001G, and has been designed to be used with dust extraction instead of a water feed. This gives you more options as to where it can be used, especially considering it is a completely cordless machine. Pair this with a cordless dust extraction system and you can cut on the top floor of a half-constructed high-rise building or in the depths of an underground excavation without the need for power or water hookups. The saw comes with a suitable D-56998 350mm diameter dry diamond wheel to allow you to get started right away. It also includes two 5.0 Amp-hour 40Vmax battery packs which combine in series to deliver up to 80 Volts of power to the brushless DC motor. The shroud is easily adjustable to catch as much dust as possible and has guide wheels to help too. Supplied with the CE002G is a AWS transmitter. This wirelessly communicates with compatible Makita dust extractors to tell them to start extraction when starting cutting, and stop extraction a few seconds after cutting stops (giving time for the hose to be emptied).
