Makita Leaf Blower/Vac | 36V (Twin 18V) | DUB363 with 2x 5.0Ah Batteries
The DUB363 is a high performance cordless machine that takes the job of a corded or petrol version but with much more convenience and lower noise respectively. The blower/vac has a brushless motor that operates at over 36 Volts. It gets the power for the motor by combining two 18 Volt battery packs together in a series configuration, which adds their voltages together.
When configured as a blower, the 363 can deliver wind speeds of up to 65 metres per second - that's 145 mph! The volume of air moved is 13.4 cubic metres per minute, which is a staggering 473 CFM - in a completely cordless machine.
Converted to a leaf vacuum by switching where the tubes are connected to, the tool also has a collection bag that has a large capacity. Regardless, the bag would fill up pretty quickly with loose leaves etc, if it didn't have the most impressive feature of the tool; a mulcher. This cuts up the incoming debris into much smaller pieces, to more efficiently use the space in the bag.
