  Ideal for heavy or more precise coverage, the drop spreader from Miracle-Gro is a well-built machine that drops seeds in a line below. This makes it perfect for use with grass seed, lawn treatments, moss killer and much more. To release the seed you pull on a lever near the handle, the harder you pull the more seed will be released.
  
  To give a more granular control, you can also adjust the rate control dial just before the lever, which will set the maximum that the seed drop bar will open. Miracle-Gro have been improving the design of their spreaders over their years of experience, and it shows in how easy to put together this spreader is compared to previous generations.
