    Dellonda Outdoor Chimenea | Corten Steel


    Made from corten steel, this chiminea is lighter weight than traditional cast-iron chinimeas, which also allows this generous size; an impressive 1.5 metres tall (just under 5 foot). Corten steel is a specially formulated alloy of steel and other materials which allow an oxide layer to form which then protects the underlying metal. The Leeds Broadcasting Tower is a prominent example of this durable material in practical use. The base of the chimenea measures 45cm square, and tapers up to the fireplace which has a raised grate to allow you to keep some airflow under the wood fuel. The tall chimney allows the smoke to be drawn up and away from the fire. This makes the chimenea perfect for socialising around, sitting or standing.
