  Makita M-Class Twin-Battery 80V Dust Extractor & Wet Vac | With 2 x 5.0Ah 40V XGT Batteries

  
  This vac from Makita is their most powerful cordless dust extractor yet, with 18 kPa of sealed suction power and 3.7 cubic metres per minute at the end of the hose. It actually rivals many corded extractors thanks to the motor which operates at 80 Volts. The 80V is supplied by combining two 40Vmax XGT battery packs in series. The vac is supplied with two batteries, each with a capacity of 5.0 Amp-hours. These batteries are also suitable for powering 40Vmax XGT power tools. 
  
  This dust extractor is rated 'M' Class, making it suitable for use with a range of dusts including silica. There is a capacity of 40 litres when used with dry materials, but this dust extractor also functions as a wet vac, capable of holding up to 30 litres of liquid. It has a water level sensor to help prevent overfilling, and a convenient drain plug at the bottom for easy emptying. This is compatible with Makita's AWS system that allows communication between the extractor and powertools wirelessly, allowing the tool such as a saw to start extraction, and stop it again after a few seconds to clear the hose.
  
  The VC006GM has several safety features including low air flow and filter clogging alarms. It also periodically cleans the filter system by itself, in order to retain maximum suction performance. The kit comes with a twin-port battery charger to recharge both batteries simultaneously.
