  Backwards compatible with the original DeWalt ToughSystem range, but including all the new features of ToughSystem 2.0, this two drawer unit is built to an extremely high quality and is as durable as you would expect from the range. The reason that drawer units are so popular in both T-Stak and ToughSystem is that it allows the user to access their tools and accessories without having to lift the case out of a stack or trolley. The deep drawers in the DWST83529-1 allow storage of hand tools, accessories and even smaller power tools such as recip saws, impact drivers and combi drills. Each drawer pull has a customisable content plate letting you label up what is in each. The drawers are mounted on smooth ball bearing drawer sliders, but they won't open on their own unless the drawer handle is pulled. While there is no carry handle at the top of this box (in order to give as much internal room as possible), there are the standard ToughSystem carry handles on either side, which also enable connection to van racking and trollies. This 2.0 version of the ToughSystem drawers has the newer improved auto-latches which make it easier than ever to add more boxes on top without even having to clip the latches in manually. Another additional feature is the flip-up support on the top, letting you use half-width ToughSystem modules.
