  Ronseal Decking End Grain Protector | 0.75 L

  
  This high quality waterproof decking end grain protector from Ronseal is suitable for use with both softwood and hardwood decking. Even though most decking boards are supplied pre-treated to protect them from rot, this treatment can only be adsorbed so far into the timber. Cutting the decking to the required length exposes the centre of the boards where the protection may be minimal or non-existent. End grain is particularly good at "wicking" up water, quickly pulling moisture into the length of the timber. Ronseal End Grain Protector is thick and best applied with a stiff brush. Apply it to the cut ends and leave for up to four hours before applying the second coat for the best finish. Once it is fully cured, you can apply whatever treatment you want to match the rest of the deck, such as paint, oil or stain.
