  There's nothing worse than a smelly washing machine, especially when trying to get your clothes to smell fresh. This cleaner from HG's machinery cleaning range is designed to remove grease from the unreachable parts of a washing machine, plus the drainage pipes and on the seals. However it isn't just grease and dirt than can be the cause, as old detergent - liquid or powder - can spoil over time causing a foul smell. This 550g washing machine cleaner has enough to treat standard machines 5 times. It is most effective if you use it once every four weeks - simply put 110g (about 100ml) of the cleaner in the main detergent tray, and put the machine (without any clothes) on a 60°C colours wash (non-pre-wash).
