Makita Brushless 18V LXT Strimmer | 1 x 5.0Ah Battery
This line trimmer from Makita features a suite of two systems which constantly monitor the speed and load on the motor. The first is constant speed control or Automatic Torque Drive (ADT) which senses if the motor is under load and compensates by increasing the power to allow consistent cutting performance. The second technology is Active Feedback Sensing (AFT) that can detect if the rotation speed has suddenly slowed down, such as in an entanglement, and shuts down the tool. This prevents injury to the user as well as preventing damage to the battery, in combination with the electronic current limiter that constantly monitors the draw on the battery. This kit is supplied with a high density Lithium-ion battery pack with a 5.0 Amp-hour capacity as well as a compact multi-voltage charger.
