This large power tool kit includes everything in the DCK853 plus the award winning DCP580 cordless planer. The DCK853 kit is packaged in a set of ToughSystem cases of three different sizes. These cases fit on the included heavy duty trolley which actually keeps the boxes separated, allowing you to remove the middle box without taking off the top box. The trolley has a large handle and sturdy wheels that make it a breeze to transport around the work site. This large kit comes with four 5.0 Amp-hour high density Lithium-ion batteries and a twin-slot charger. This allows you to use two tools at the same time while charging two dead batteries. Each motorised tool in the kit features a high performance brushless motor that allows for longer runtime from the batteries while reducing downtime from maintenance requirements.
The first in this arsenal of tools is the DCD996 Combination Hammer Drill which is DEWALT's flagship combi drill featuring their all metal XRP gearbox. It is capable of drilling holes up to 55mm in wood and an impressive 15mm in metal while still retaining a compact profile.
A great companion to the DCD997 is the DCF887 Impact Driver which is fantastic at driving all types of fixings especially screws. It features an SBS module which allows the driver to pull more power from the motor when required. It has a ring of three powerful LEDs around the chuck to illuminate the work area, ideal for low light conditions
The next tool is the DCH273 Rotary Hammer Drill which features an SDS-Plus quick change chuck that supports a huge range of different types of tools such as chisels and masonry drill bits. The DCH273 can be operated in chisel only mode thanks to the rotation stop mode, ideal for light tasks such as tile removal.
The DCS355 Oscillating Multi-Tool is probably the most feature packed of the tools in this kit and it comes with a set of accessories to allow you to sand and cut a range of materials. The compact design allows the DCS355 to be used in tight and awkward spaces and the LED light illuminates badly lit areas.
One of the most impressive tools is the DCS570 Circular Saw which is a class-leading bestseller that features a high-torque motor to give a 5500 rpm no load speed. The 184mm saw can bevel up to 57 degrees and can achieve a maximum cut depth of 64mm at 90°.
The DCG405 has been designed with both power and ergonomics in mind and features an impressively long runtime. It can make up to 69 cuts of half-inch steel rebar on a single battery. It features a high-tech electronic clutch that protects the user from kickbacks.
The DCS367 Reciprocating Saw is one of the most compact recip saws you can buy with a length of only 363mm, making it easy to get into tight spaces. It features a pivoting shoe that helps to stabilise the cuts and gives extra comfort and control.
To help illuminate your work area when the tool LEDs aren't enough, the DCL040 work light uses the same 18 volt XR batteries and has an amazing runtime on a single battery. The torch can be held, set on a flat surface on the battery or hung from the hook at the top.
Last but certainly not least in this pack is the DCP580 Planer that features an incredible no load speed of 15,000 rpm and gives a maximum cut depth of 2mm and rebating depth of 9mm. It comes complete with required accessories and a guide fence for accurate cuts.
