Hessian Cloth is the ideal construction industry solution to battle the elements when laying brickwork, mortar, concrete or cement. In the Summer, the additional heat from the Sun and the general warmer weather can cause cement and concrete to dry much quicker than specifications advise, which could have undesirable side-effects such as reduction in strength or appearance. In Winter cold can have even more devastating effects to things which may be moist such as fresh brickwork and mortar due to frost. Applying Proguard Hessian Cloth helps to alleviate these potential problems by providing a protective breathable barrier over your work. The cloth is made from something called Jute fabric which is woven into a rough texture and is naturally biodegradable.
