    This timer is useful for a variety of automation applications around the home from lighting to heating. As this unit supports a maximum load of 3KW it is possible to run small heaters from it meaning the timer switch acts as a safety so that the heater turns off during working hours. Other fantastic applications would be for a plug-in security light that only operates at specific times, disabling a plug-in doorbell during the night or operating aquarium lighting.

    This timer is special in that it has seven day programmability whereas many of these mechanical type timers only have 24-hour programmes. This allows you to have different programming at the weekend or every other day.
