  Colt Cowls have produced a top quality standard birdguard for solid fuel burning fires, this guard has been designed to prevent unwanted bird and animal entry to reduce the potential for clogging by soot and debris. If you are in any doubt the high top has quickly become the nations favourite birdguard. Note that the lifetime of this cowl may be reduced if used with certain types of smokeless fuels like furnacite & anthracite.
