If you have a blank canvas to work with or a portion of the garden you want to improve you could consider decking, paving or flagstones. Each has it its own benefit and unique look. When working with decking you can create a defined area separate to the rest of the garden ideal for entertaining. When using flagstones or brick pavers you can create a similar area, without the maintenance. All you have to do is lay them and seal them.
