The move from 2015 into 2016 has been a cold, slow and drab transition with the unfortunate addition of multiple storms and damage to homes and properties accross the UK and Ireland. However there is a flip side to every coin and now as February draws to end there appears to be a glimmer of hope for those of you good weather loving folk.
According to the "Farmers Almanac Gardening Calender" the 24th of February onwards is the perfect time to start the sowing of grains, hay, forage crops, flowering plants and root crops. This marks the official start of the Spring and gardening season for farmers, green fingered home owners, landscape designers and just about anyone who loves their garden living space.
Now we know how much having a spectacular looking garden means to alot of people and as the nights start to get brighter most of us will be planning the redecoration of our outdated gardens. That means cracking the garden power tools out and getting down and dirty. Let's take a look at the newest pre-season Black & Decker garden power tools due to be released for the coming quarter 2016!

We haven't seen alot produced by Black & Decker with regards gardening power tools in recent years, so we're proud to introduce their newest garden tool range. Take a look at what to expect: (We are expecting the tools in stock towards the end of March).
If you're reading this you are probably wondering what an autosense lawn mower is right? Before we start talking about the CLMA4820L2 itself let's start by taking a look at the new and innovative technology that resides within.
What is autosense technology? Inititally Black & Decker integrated autosense technology into their DIY power tool range where we started to see integration of the technology into their drills and power tools. It has now been incorporated with the new cordless CLMA4820L2 lawn mower where the unique autosense technology manages the delivery system of power to the motor. To put it simply it eliminates the need for manual speed/torque changes; where it automatically senses the load on the lawn mowers motor and delivers the optimum power required for that task. Another words if you are mowing through dense grass the autosense technology will provide the exact amount of power to the motor in order to deal with heavy load. Alternaitvely if the mower moved from a dense area to a thinner area of the autosense technology would reduce the power delivered to the motor.
It might not seem that impressive but consider this. When using a cordless garden power tool you dont want to have to change the batteries half way through right? So autosense technology regulates the battery and motor power to ensure that you can carry out your mowing tasks with one charge of a battery.
Additional Features: The CLMA4820L2 lawn mower is cordless which makes life that little bit easier. For a start there's now no need for an extension cable or power outlet to operate it meaning that your mowing area is no longer limited. It can be used anywhere. There is also the secondary advantage there's no electrical current passing through wires on potentially wet ground, keeping users safer.
The CLMA4820L2 lawn mower integrates 3 modes of cutting: Mulching which helps to "mulch" the soil increasing it's fertility. This is ideal for the planting of tree seeds etc. Slide discharge cuts the grass but leaves the cuttings as a top layer. This is perfect when creating the likes of compost heaps. Lasty there is collection and bagging where the cuttings are cut and collected in the mowers large 50 litre collection bag.
With 7 height adjustable settings users have a large scope of cuts to choose from depending on how they want their garden. The fantastic folding storage handles and integrated carrying handle facilitates easy storage even in the smallest of spaces. The product will be supplied with 2 x 36 Volt 2.0Ah batteries.

Due to be released towards the end of March the STB3620L 36 volt cordless strimmer is a high performance gardening power tool that is packed full of features. By 2016 most of you are probably familiar with the term brushless motor. If you're not a brushless motor is essentially a large motorised electromagnet that causes no friction during its turning revolution. The STB3620L integrates a brushless motor delivering a high performance cut with extreme tool durability and longevity. Combined with the intuitive 36 volt battery it delivers a huge runtime up to 1 hour with a single charged battery while an automatic single line feed makes for easy tool maintenance. Additional features include variable speed control for accurate cuts and an constant speed transmission which enhances performance and reduces battery load. A unique flip edge guide ensures accurate trimming in bordering and edging.
Black & Decker have also released another cordless strimmer; model STC1820PC which uses an 18 volt 2.0Ah battery. With a range of intuitive features like the 36 volt strimmer the STC1820PC integrates a power selector which gives the choice of enhanced cutting or battery saving modes. Again it uses an automatic single line feed system with a 28mm swath. The 18 volt differs where it has a precision eding wheel guide providing users with immense accuracy in bordering and edging applications. Dual handles and optimum comfort handle grip reduce fatigue.
The 18 volt GTC18452PC and the 36 volt GTC36552PC cordless hedge trimmers are the newest additions to Black & Decker power command range. Any garden power tool in the range integrates the specialist design that enhances cutting through branches and clears blade jams without damage to either blade or hedge. It comes equiped with a 45cm long blade which is suitable for small to medium sized branches. The blade has what's called dual action cutting which amplified the steel blades performance and maximises longevity and durability. The hedge trimmers safety functions include a 2 handed starting mechanism preventing against accidental starting. As a whole the model trimmers are perfect for home domestic or commercial use. Their cordless design favours function and portability allowing you to reach areas where corded trimmers cannot.
